This style of laundry detergent bottle is absolutely fantastic design imo. The cap includes a measuring cup which is standard for most detergents. However, to stop from spilling any detergent, the measuring cup is designed to go inside the cap's thread rather than have the cap itself be the whole measuring cup. Furthermore inside of the bottle thread, but outside of the pour spout, there is a drain hole funneling any residual detergent from the measuring cup back in to the bottle.
