Brick Lane: Chinese political slogans appear on London street art wall

This is a very interesting piece of artwork. The red on white just pops! It’s location in Orwell’s London adds to its layers; state propaganda vs antiestablishment graffiti, indigenous vs expatriate, colonialism vs immigration, cultural assimilation vs acculturation, socialism vs individualism, universal values, etc…Especially when it’s done by Chinese art students. Even it’s current desecration adds to the discourse.
