250 convertible umbrellas (each 20 meters tall) erected at the piazza of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia, cover 143,000 square meters – providing shade & reducing daytime temp. by 14 degrees F, as well as retaining ground heat in the winter & providing nighttime illumination.
